Truly Amazing Grace

As I ponder the mistakes I have made in my life, my character flaws, short-commings, failures and the like; I am so in awe of Jesus' way of keeping me through it all. I am in Christ and no man can put me out. Jesus will in no wise cast me out. He will never leave me nor forsake me. He is faithful that promised. Jesus has got me and He's gonna see me through all the way to the end of time. Thank God for Jesus!

Christ Died for The Ungodly

Romans 5:6
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Why is it that so many people think that Jesus Christ only died for those willing to lay down their lives in complete submission to Him? The Bible says that Christ died for the UNGODLY. Not those willing to lay down their lives in complete and total surrender, submission, or even to deep sorrow for their sins.

This erroneous teaching is found everywhere. It is a false Gospel, there is no "Good News" to be had in being told to cleanse yourself or purge yourself from all of your sins, in fact, it is blasphemy to even attempt to do so. Jesus is the one who shed His perfect sinless blood on Calvary. We are to believe in His finished work and receive the gift of pardon given by Jesus. Salvation is God's free gift and by simply placing our faith and trust in Him as the sole savior of the world we shall be saved. (John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.) See also John 3:15, 3:16, Romans 10:9-10 and Ephesians 2:8-9.

We are to trust in Jesus with reckless abandon, cast ourselves on Him and trust that He has saved us completely. The false Gospel crowd teach that salvation can be lost. They are lying. They are deceived and deceiving others.

Concerning Eternal Security

Jesus Himself said in John 10:28

And I give unto them ETERNAL life; and they shall NEVER perish,
neither shall ANY MAN pluck them out of my hand. Eternal means eternal. Never means never. Any man means that even you in your own rebellion cannot remove yourself from His hand once you are saved.
